What began as a small business has grown into a trusted reference in the sector. For over twenty years, the company was located in the Sint-Truiden slaughterhouse, where the foundations for a strong and reliable operation were laid.
Today, Jo Herbots has grown into a modern wholesaler specializing in beef, lamb, and veal. Our name is now well-known among quality butchers, retailers, and professionals.

Through a continuous focus on quality and service, the company has kept evolving. In 2018, a brand-new company building in Sint-Truiden was put into use. This modern infrastructure enables us to operate more efficiently and to serve our customers even better.
With a team of around ninety employees and our own fleet of trucks, we ensure fast, accurate, and reliable deliveries every day. In this way, we bring our products directly to our customers — without ever compromising on quality.
Fresh produce
Freshness is essential in our business. That's why we work directly from the slaughterhouse in Sint-Truiden, ensuring the cold chain is never interrupted.
This means that our meat is processed and transported under the best possible conditions, so that our customers can always count on a fresh and high-quality end product.
Quality starts at the origin
Top quality starts with the basics. Jo Herbots knows his cattle breeders personally and maintains a close working relationship with them. Regular visits ensure the animals live in optimal conditions and receive the right nutrition. This approach guarantees not only the quality of the meat but also respect for the animal and the product.
